Dr. Abha Shah – Doctor – FRACGP
Committed to Health, Committed to You
Dr. Abha Shah obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bonds in 2009. Following her undergraduate medical training, Dr. Shah pursued a career in general surgery, dedicating eight years to NSW Health in Western Sydney. During this period, she served as a Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO), an unaccredited surgical registrar, and completed two years of accredited surgical training.
In 2017, Dr. Shah decided to change her career trajectory and undertook three years of general practice training through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, which she completed in 2020. Since then, she has been providing care in the Hills District as a procedural General Practitioner (GP), with a particular focus on skin cancer medicine and women’s health.
While working in general practice, Dr. Shah developed a profound interest in skin cancer management, eventually transitioning to full-time work in this field. Her passion for women’s health drives her commitment to helping her patients achieve enriching and fulfilled lives through improved mental and physical health.
